Quran is a Divine Miracle of Literature [Prophesy – Science – Warnings – Narratives – Wisdom – Truths]. The distinctive approach of the Quran is that its instructions are aimed at the general welfare of the mankind and are based on the possibilities within his reach. The Quran neither condemns nor tortures the flesh nor does it neglect the soul. It does not humanize God, nor does it deify man. Yet it obviously is not written in human style.
The Quran has not been changed, edited, or altered in any way from its original state. In fact, copies of the Quran dating back to shortly after the death of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) still exist today in museums and correspond exactly to the version read by Muslims around the world. Not only were the words of the Quran memorized, but also their pronunciation, we can find people -today- of all different languages able to recite the Quran as if they are Arabs themselves, living during the time of the Prophet.
14 Centuries ago, The Quran described the evolution of the embryo inside the uterus so accurately as we find it now recorded in modern science. How could any person of the 7th century utter such scientific truths while living in a small village at the midst of desert?
Quran speaks to all of mankind on a general basis without regard to race, tribe, color, social position, financial condition or genealogy. Allah the Almighty says: “O Mankind! What has seduced you from your Lord so Generous?”
Memorization of the Quran emerged into a continuous tradition across the centuries, In these schools, students learn and memorize the Quran at the feet of a master who in turn acquired the knowledge from his teacher, an ‘un broken chain’ going all the way back to the Prophet of God.
